Turkey's largest bookstore BKM Kitap switches to DerinSİS

Bursa-based BKM Kitap integrates its structure, consisting of many software, into Derin Bilgi solutions.

BKM Kitap decided to take its extraordinary rapid growth to the next level with its retail-focused ERP system DerinSİS. With an extremely fast and intensive project work, the transition to DerinSİS ERP was completed. Before the ERP implementation, the project started with Derin Bilgi's CRM solution for IYS integration, and the transfer of over 3 million e-commerce customers and IYS integration were successfully completed.

With over 5,000 m2 of space, these bookstore chains, the largest in Europe, have a size and unusual spatial perception that will attract the attention of even those who don't read books.

The company's main data was collected and unified under a single roof across all channels, and price and stock policies were automated. The BKM Kitap ERP transformation, where nearly 500,000 products are managed, is a success story for remote project management during the COVID period. With Derin Bilgi's unique project technique, transfer preparations, users' pre-training with their own data, real applications in the database to be used as a live system, and final transfers before the transition, the project was completed successfully with remote work and limited on-site support. During the live transition period, the project was switched to on-site work, and any issues were addressed quickly.

The goal of the project, which continues with WMS preparations as Phase 2, is to increase BKM Kitap's daily shipment capacity from 10,000 to 50,000.
